We need your time, talents and treasure!
The PWA Fundraising Committee is responsible for two major events; the annual Cinco de Mayo Auction/Networking Fundraiser in May and the annual Golf Tournament in September.
The success of these events is critical. With the funds we raise, PWA can continue our financial support of Lydia’s House, a charitable organization dedicated to providing transitional housing, comprehensive, goal-oriented, support services, and access to community resources for abused women and their children. Some of the proceeds from the auction and golf events also allow us to maintain the PWA mentoring program, leadership seminars and provide resources through education and networking.
You can make an impact by joining the Fundraising Committee. The committee is involved with planning the Cinco de Mayo auction/networking event from start to finish. Monthly auction committee meetings are held from February until May. Golf Tournament planning will start in July.
How can you help?
· Join the committee today!
· Mail letters, get sponsors, solicit auction items, get people to attend, decorate and so on. If you’re willing to get involved we have something that will fit your time, talents and treasure.
